2026 ASHE North/Central New Jersey (NCNJ) Scholarship — a prestigious opportunity for students pursuing careers in civil engineering.
This scholarship supports exceptional students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a passion for the engineering profession. Awards provide financial assistance to help recipients achieve their academic and professional goals.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must be entering their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year at one of the following institutions:
The College of New Jersey
New Jersey Institute of Technology
Rutgers University
Stevens Institute of Technology
Princeton University
Ocean County College
Middlesex College
Brookdale Community College
Mercer County Community College
Residency
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with a permanent home address in one of the following counties: Somerset, Hudson, Essex, Bergen, Middlesex, Sussex, Union, Warren, Passaic, Mercer, Monmouth, Morris, or Hunterdon.
Academic Requirements
Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.
All materials must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Recommendation Letter:
After completing Section 8 of the online form, you’ll receive a unique link to share with your department head or academic advisor so they can upload your recommendation directly.
You will receive confirmation once all three components (application, transcript, and recommendation letter) are received.
Incomplete applications may result in point deductions.
Award Information
Scholarship amounts will be determined based on the overall strength of the applications.
We typically offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, though this may vary depending on the applicant pool.
