Minimum Application Qualifications
- Undergraduate student studying a STEM subject
- Citizen of the U.S. • Resident of NJ and/or attending a NJ institution
- Entering 2nd through last year of study in the 2026-2027 academic year
- Have a GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or higher

The NJ Chapter of Professional Women in Construction is pleased to offer a scholarship program to support the next generation of students pursuing degrees in architecture, engineering and construction-related industries.

Scholarship Information
PWC NJ awards a minimum of (2) scholarships valued at $2,500 annually to high school seniors and/or full-time college or trade/technical students pursuing education and careers in architecture, engineering and construction-related fields. Payments will be made directly to the school. Successful candidates will be notified in the Spring and should plan to attend the PWCNJ Women of Achievement Luncheon held in May to be recognized for their achievements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a student enrolled to earn a degree or certificate in an architecture, engineering, or construction-related field.
- Applicant must fall under one of the following categories:
- A high school senior.
- A full-time college freshman, sophomore, or junior.
- College applicants must have completed at least one full semester at their accredited institution.
- Graduate students are not eligible.
- A full-time trade/technical school student.
- Applicants must be a New Jersey resident OR a relative of an active PWC NJ member.

The Associated Construction Contractors of NJ (ACCNJ) is once again pleased to announce the John F. Donohoe Scholarship is available to current sophomore and junior civil engineering students enrolled in an accredited civil engineering program and entering their junior or senior year beginning in Fall 2026. We ask that you share this information with your students accordingly.
The ACCNJ is a statewide trade association of hundreds of members engaged in infrastructure construction including building, heavy, highway, marine, site development and utility construction.
The John F. Donohoe Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Mr. Donohoe, a dedicated leader of the association, who was committed to the heavy construction industry and served as a mentor to many members of the civil engineering profession.
A biography of Mr. Donohoe and application materials are included with this email. Application forms are also available on the ACCNJ website (www.accnj.org), located on the Education Page.
Completed applications must be received by March 31, 2026. The selected applicant(s) will be presented with the scholarship award during our scholarship presentation program scheduled for June 9th.

Do you know an engineering student who would be a great fit to apply for the NJSPE Engineering Student Scholarship? The New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers is currently accepting applications for the 2026 Engineering Student Scholarships.
NJSPE has implemented scholarships to assist the brightest and most talented future engineers. There are three NJSPE scholarships. The top applicant will receive a $3,000 scholarship and be named as the NJSPE Future Engineer of the Year. Second place will receive a $2,000 scholarship and third place will receive a $1,000 scholarship..
CRITERIA:
Incoming Junior or Senior undergraduate engineering students who are enrolled full-time in a post-secondary education institution in New Jersey and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering are eligible to win a scholarship.
Scholarship application deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026 by 5pm EST.
Winners will be notified that they are receiving a scholarship – but Scholarship Placement (1st, 2nd or 3rd) will be announced at the Annual Installation and Awards Dinner on June 25, 2026 at Mercer Oaks Golf Course in West Windsor Township, NJ. Winners will be announced by June 1, 2026.
