Course Description
The Introduction to Water/Wastewater course is required by the State of New Jersey for Water Supply & Wastewater Treatment Operators Licensing exams T1, W1, S1, and C1. NJIT’s John A. Reif, Jr. Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering is now offering a two-part continuing education course for water and wastewater professionals seeking licensure starting in the Spring 2020 semester and concluding at the end of Fall 2020.
Program Details
Cost: $1,300 (students will be charged $650 at the start of each semester)
Time: 180 Hours
Location: NJIT Campus
Dates: Spring 2020 — Fall 2020
Part 1: Jan. 21 — May 5
Part 2: Sept. 1 — Dec. 10
Meets: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00pm - 9:00pm

The Introduction to Water/Wastewater course is required for professionals seeking to become licensed Water Supply & Wastewater Treatment System Operators in the State of New Jersey. Completion of this NJDEP approved training course, a high school diploma (or equivalency certificate) and one year of operating experience are required in order for you to be eligible to take the exams for T1, W1, S1, and C1 licenses.
