Teaching assistantships are available for PhD students studying in structural or geotechnical areas with support for up to four years of graduate study. Applicants must have a MSCE degree in these areas of specialization.
Admission and financial support will be evaluated only after all application documents have been received. Documents required for application include application form, 3 letters of recommendation, proof of degree(s) completion, official transcript(s) from all universities attended, $60 application fee, GRE, and TOEFL (international students). Research assistants are needed for supported research in drinking water engineering. The work involves analytical methods development, source water characterization, bench/pilot scale testing, and other related work to optimization of water treatment disinfection processes. Potential Ph.D. candidates should have good knowledge in environmental chemistry and water treatment, and have laboratory experience.
